Jew by choice

I'm not Jewish, but I would like to be. My spiritual journey has led me to Judaism, and I feel a kinship with the Jewish people. I have had Jewish ancestors in the past as well... it may be that the spark has jumped a few generations to return with me. I have been actively studying, practicing, and seeking conversion for the past year. It's a long journey though, and I am not in a rush. I do know that if I am ever to have children, I want them to be raised Jewish.
