Why does everyone love a mushroom?

Because he's a fun-guy! I guess what I am looking for is to meet people with the same goal of finding their special one in the next few years- but a full out committment takes time and honestly I'm not there right now. I'm a pretty laid back person, not a partier at all but up for a good time otherwise. I especially like dorky things like Playdium, Mario, mini-golf, movies, cooking together, double dates and picnics. The company is what really makes things for me. I'm looking for someone who is not only a great partner but a best friend as well- not to be cliche but honestly that is what I've missed in my previous relationships hence making them less than successful. I'm a real foodie, a left of middle but not left of left, and overly altruistic. I know altruism can be assumed as a negative quality, but I've never understood why! I can't really describe what I want in a guy specifically because it is all about a person as a whole. But qualities I really find admirable are those who can make people laugh and laugh at themselves, an above average academic intelligence, those who are happy to stay in and make a foodie buffet and possibly a fort (maybe that's wishful thinking lol) and those who are willing to try out new things with an open mind. And in my world, blunt honesty with tact is the way to go!
